Time is limited however the team does try to read inspiring books every single day. We thought it would be fun to round up some top recommendations from everyone and make a list for you Subbies!
It really is necessary to not only inspire yourself work wise, but to read for pleasure and edification.
Without further adieu here are some reads we all love and hope you will too!
The Five Second Rule by Mel Robbins
This book delves into how to understand being uninspired and the act of procrastination. When we understand this we then understand how to change it. A wonderful read for anyone interested to learning how to tap into their potential and thrive even though life has it's ups and downs. Chock-full of real life experiences and written in a delightfully conversational tone.
The Mind Platter by Najwa Zebian
This book speaks to the poetry lover. Najwa speaks to self development, understanding trauma, healing wounds, and the journey to happiness. It is fanciful yet gritty and really lovely to read when relaxing.
We like to think of it as the adult Chicken Soup for The Soul. The author has a great way of nudging the reader to engage in introspection with a view to being empathetic with not only yourself, but others as well.
I'm Judging You: The Do Better Manual by Luvvie Ajayi
A no holds barred call out session! We could not stop laughing and turning the pages of this one. A comedic rant that touches on multiple facets of everyday life, what's wrong with it and how we can do better. Luvvie says what we all have been thinking for years but don't have enough guts to say. If you are looking for a semi-light hearted read, with a large dose of shade, this is it.
